We currently have a vacancy for a tax manager/senior manager based at our Sutton Quays office in Runcorn.
The role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional to manage a varied and interesting client portfolio including high-net-worth individuals, owner-managed businesses, landlords and trusts, delivering both compliance and advisory services to both private and corporate clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, acting as the main contact
- Advising on a range of tax matters, including a good level of advisory-led work for individuals and owner managed businesses
- Dealing with HMRC enquiries and investigations
Requirements:
A strong personal tax background gained in public practice is essential, with exposure to advisory-led work for individuals and owner-managed businesses. Experience of trusts would be advantageous, although this would not be essential. You will be confident managing your own client portfolio, maintaining strong relationships, and providing practical, commercially focused advice. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important, alongside the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments.
